明天是2019月12月21日，2019年最后一场托福考试，小托君送你们一份托福写作27+必备的连接词全解，助你顺利与托福分手。

要想拿到托福写作的高分，必定少不了连接词的帮助，这种类型的词我一般称之为“胶水词”。因为这类词像胶水一样把前后句子连接起来，增强逻辑和易读性。

据不科学统计，托福写作20分以下的同学都不会用连接词，赶快学起来！

1.文章开头的连接词

to begin with
so far
as far as
according to

例如：

According to the agenda, they arrived in Africa the next day.
按照议事日程，他们第二天到了非洲。

有了开头连接词，就会让行文流畅很多。

2.描述时间的连接词

first/firstly
in the meantime
at the same time
ever since
while
shortly after
the next moment
nowadays
at present
before long
in the future
for the first time

例如：

I remember seeing the ocean for the first time.
记得十八岁那年，我第一次看到海洋。

3.描述空间的连接词

on the right/ left
to the right/ left of
on the other side of
in the middle/ center of
on one side of

例如：

On one side of the sheet, blood-vessel cells mimic a capillary wall; on the other, lung-cancer cells mimic lung epithelial cells.
在这张图的上边，血管壁细胞模仿毛细血管，，在另一边，模拟肺癌细胞的肺上皮细胞。

描述空间的连接词可以使我们文章的语言更丰富，更有逻辑。

4.描述因果联系的连接词

thanks to
thus
therefore
as a result (of …)
with the help of
owe … to …

例如：

Be open to growing in that direction. You owe it to yourself.
请放开向梦想的方向成长吧，这归功于你自己。

5.描述转折的连接词

on the contrary/contrary to
although
except for
in spite of
otherwise
after all
in fact

例如：

In fact, we already have the technology to do so.
事实上，我们已经拥有这样做的技术支持。

6.用来举例的连接词

that is to say
as a matter of fact
namely
for instance
take…as an example
such as
that is
like
as follows
in other words

例如：

In other words, what have I been afraid of all this time?
换句话说，我这一直以来害怕的到底是什么呀？

写作三要素：观点，支撑观点的理由，支撑理由的例子，这时候你就需要用来举例的连接词。

7.描述递进的连接词

例如：

To make matters worse, the city was in the grip of organised crime.
此更糟糕的是，这个城市处于有组织的犯罪团伙的控制下。

8.文章结尾总结的连接词

as is known to all

例如：

As is known to all, English is unparalleled by any other languages in terms of influence. Besides, an increasing number of people are aware of the importance of learning English.
