而“熟词僻义”才是真正阻碍理解的难点之一。比如先看看下面这段对话：
虽然passage我们最常见的含义是“文章”，但是这个单词的本意应该是“通道”，来自于词根“pass”。而上文提及的“passage grave”叫做“通道式坟墓”。
再比如：
这道词汇题考查的就是project的熟词僻义“v. 投影，投射，放映”，所以选D。
