托福口语一直是中国考生的弱势科目，不少考生在口语环节，会莫名紧张，从而导致发挥失常，最终影响成绩。

要知道的是，托福口语的电脑评分会判断你的卡壳频次，也就是说一段回答中多久会出现一次卡壳。恰当的停顿不会影响成绩，但是频繁的卡壳思考会影响Delivery维度上的得分。

不少考生会在回答中用You know，I Mean等去缓解长时间停顿，除了这些，还总结了以下这些过渡句，正确使用可以让你的答案听起来更自然、流畅哦~

也就是说

That is to say、Namely、in other words、Means

【例】也就是说，要知道自己的长处和短处，做出的选择要扬长避短。

That is to say , they should know their merits and demerits and their choices must give play to their strengths and circumvent weaknesses.

……也是如此

The same is true of...

【例】现在研究生院中10个学生中有6个都是女生。这种情况同样出现在已经具有本科以上学历的年轻人中。

About six out of ten students in graduate schools are women. The same is true of today’s young adults who already have a degree beyond college.

我们有理由相信

We have reasons to believe (that)

【例】我们有理由相信体罚应该严格禁止。

We have reasons to believe that corporal punishment should be strictly prohibited.

基于这个理由

【例】鉴于社会的实际需要，越来越多的人对学英语有兴趣。

换言之

In other words、to put it differently

别人可能认为……但我认为……

It may be true as assumed by others,but I don't.I believe that...

【例】别人可能认为这是事实，但我不是。我认为如果你有很大的决心和毅力，就一定会成功。

It may be true as assumed by others,but I don't. I believe that if you have strong determination and perseverance,the success will certainly come to you in the end.

如果能实践这些

If one can really put the three points into action (practic)...

【例】如果可以实现这三点，他一定会有一个健康幸福的生活

If one can really put the three points into action(practice),he will surely be able to live a healthy and happy life.

最后呢，同学们在托福备考过程中，一定要了解各科目的评分标准，以托福口语为例，每个题目会有真人考官和机器考官Speech Rater来评分。

真人考官们主要根据上述评分标准评估Topic development （话题发展）、Language use （语言使用）。

而Speech Rater 主要就Language use （语言使用）和Delivery （表达）来评分。
